It is always good to visit Daisy Creek and our good friends there。 Amelia Rose has given us another brave bride although she isn’t one of the blizzard widows。 Left a widow with three children and no real way to feed and support the family, Susan plans to sell her home in Daisy Creek and move her family to Omaha where she hopes to find a job。 Frankly she would have been worse off there。 Edward has come in response to Mayor Tayden’s monthly letters to the railroad asking for a depot in town。 He ju It is always good to visit Daisy Creek and our good friends there。 Amelia Rose has given us another brave bride although she isn’t one of the blizzard widows。 Left a widow with three children and no real way to feed and support the family, Susan plans to sell her home in Daisy Creek and move her family to Omaha where she hopes to find a job。 Frankly she would have been worse off there。 Edward has come in response to Mayor Tayden’s monthly letters to the railroad asking for a depot in town。 He just wasn’t expecting to end up falling in love with the town, Susan and her children。 I loved this book。 。。。more

Sweet RomanceLoved this book of a continuing series about Daisy Creek, although it can also be read as a stand alone book。 Loved the way the residents and Indians helped each other and came together as needed。

3。 5 starsThe surveyor for the RR is in town。 Once he describes the changes I have say I worried about the town of Daisy Creek。 While I understand that progress is a good thing, I’m not sure how the beloved towns- people would fair with all those changes。 Especially an increase in population of settlers and the Lakota neighboring village。Edward &  Susan have good chemistry。 I liked the kids。Another tornado。 Oh dear! Suspenseful。I look forward to the continuation of the series and the growth of D 3。 5 starsThe surveyor for the RR is in town。 Once he describes the changes I have say I worried about the town of Daisy Creek。 While I understand that progress is a good thing, I’m not sure how the beloved towns- people would fair with all those changes。 Especially an increase in population of settlers and the Lakota neighboring village。Edward &  Susan have good chemistry。 I liked the kids。Another tornado。 Oh dear! I have been waiting on this book for a while。 Anyone who read any of the Daisy Creek series knows how bad the mayor wants the railroad to come to Daisy Creek。 This story is not what I envisioned。 The characters are well developed and perfect for this story。 I liked how a farmer's widow was a perfect fit for a railroad businessman。 Any preconceived notions of the ability of this widow are put out the window when they start talking about the town and bringing the railroad。 Great story。 Great Chara I have been waiting on this book for a while。 Anyone who read any of the Daisy Creek series knows how bad the mayor wants the railroad to come to Daisy Creek。 This story is not what I envisioned。 The characters are well developed and perfect for this story。 I liked how a farmer's widow was a perfect fit for a railroad businessman。 Any preconceived notions of the ability of this widow are put out the window when they start talking about the town and bringing the railroad。 Great story。 Great Characters。 Loved it。 。。。more

Susan had a good marriage, and three great kids。 Then her husband got very sick and died, leaving her and the three children on a farm they could not run by themselves and no money。 Susan is devastated, and promises herself she will never get married again; it hurts too deeply to lose the one you love。 They live in Daisy Creek, but she does not think there are any jobs available there, and they may need to move to Omaha, which is a much larger city where she might get employment。 Edward works as Susan had a good marriage, and three great kids。 Then her husband got very sick and died, leaving her and the three children on a farm they could not run by themselves and no money。 Susan is devastated, and promises herself she will never get married again; it hurts too deeply to lose the one you love。 They live in Daisy Creek, but she does not think there are any jobs available there, and they may need to move to Omaha, which is a much larger city where she might get employment。 Edward works as a scout for the railroad, the determine where new rail lines should be run。 He is a good looking man, dresses well, is very thoughtful and kind, even though he shows himself to be aloof and distant。 He literally runs into Susan in the general store, causing her goods to scatter all over the floor。 They are attracted to each other, and they see beyond each other’s façade。 Edward hires Susan to be his temporary secretary, while he is surveying the area。 I’ve read every Daisy Creek Brides book, this is #14, and it is an absolute tear jerker。 The characters really connect to the reader, it is unexpected, unpredictable, and such a great book。 I love knowing so much about the characters from the previous books。 Hope you read every one, they are wonderful! 。。。more

Lovely Story!Susan and Edward, a perfect pair and both of them ripe for romance。I truly enjoyed this story embracing the kindness and giving natures of people living in a small town community, especially when tragedy befalls them。It is a shortish and well written story with some lovable characters and I can happily recommend it!I read an Advance Reader Copy (ARC) of this book and my review is voluntary and unbiased。

ARC reviewer- Welcome back to Daisy Creek! This is one of my favorite books of the series。 There are some little twists and turns along the way but the story is so descriptive and well fleshed that you can comfortably glide through it all。 A widow finds love again from an unexpected new addition to the town。 A different story than the mail order brides of the rest of the series, but a true love happily ever after all the same。
